Fashion :: Neutrals

Equipment Washed Silk Top // Scalloped Mini Bag // BaubleBar Crystal Shard Pendant Necklace // JCrew Silk Shantung Cropped Pant //  JCrew Merino Lattice-Sleeve Sweater // Lemon Embroidered Straw Fedora // Rachel Gunnard Studs // Joie A la Plage Sandals // Diane von Furstenberg Blazer // Zoe Karssen Merci T-Shirt // Loeffler Randall Buckle Sandal // Ban.do Bobby Pin Set // JCrew Linen City Mini // Gucci Soho Small Patent Leather Bag // Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer 'Before He Cheats' // Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise Bag // Elizabeth Cole Aeryn Earrings // Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Palette 'Nude Glow' //  JCrew Swiss Dot Tuxedo Shirt

As much as I love color, I have to admit there is something about pale neutrals that feel so breezy and effortless.  These pieces all have that easy elegance that will make you reach for them again and again on those days where you feel like you 'just don't have anything to wear.'  My favorite neutral is a light ballerina blush, and this polish and this dress hit it spot-on.  I'm totally lusting over this adorable scalloped bag {less than $40!}, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, this patent leather Gucci bag.  Happy shopping!

  4. I've always loved blush tones. I usually have to wear a bit more make up to be able to pull them off since I'm so darn pale, but I don't mind it. To me this shade is an epitome of femininity.
    I must must must get that T-shirt!

  18. So many great picks it's hard to choose! I love the Kate Spade tote...beautiful shape and I like that it comes with a longer strap for traveling. And the Merci tee is so charming....it would look so cute with boyfriend jeans and ballet flats.

  32. i agree with you, blush tones are so elegant and delicate. i know what you mean about the color washing you out {my skin gets very, very pale in the winter}, but i think it would look beautiful with your dark hair and icy blue eyes :)
